Proprietors Bobby Munson and David Ramer have lived in Mexico now for 3 years and have extensive backgrounds in restaurant and hospitality management, ensuring your visit will be relaxing and pleasure filled. Our nicest rooms are extra large, while others are located on the top sundeck and offer spectacular views. Our VIP Suite is the 'Coup d'the-atre' of this beautiful resort and features a two-man Jacuzzi surrounded by exotic plants, a complete bath/shower, featuring over/sized towels and luxury amenities, bath robes, etc. The VIP Suite has a private sundeck with fabulous views of Acapulco Bay.

Before you travel away from Mexico, set some time aside to see the cliff divers at La Quabrada. This world famous diving exhibition is not far the town square, the Zocolo. During your stay in Acapulco you will no doubt make many new friends! However, if you are planning your stay at another hotel, you may find that these new friends will not be welcome to come onto the hotel premises. Though this is usually not a problem at gay owned guest houses, gay hotels or a gay owned B&B, when making reservations at any hotel, guest house or B&B be sure to confirm that you may want to bring 'Local Friends' to your room. Most Acapulco hotels do not allow you to bring guests even to their lobby bar! This will never happen at Las Palmas! You may invite your 'new and old friends' back to Las Palmas! If your new amigo is age 18 or older, we will warmly welcome him, and, as your guest, he will be free to join you in using all the amenities of the hotel.
