Our JAVA banner will automatically appear on your web site by simply cutting and pasting the HTML code below into your web page. Important Note: This HTML code must be pasted into the page containing the other HTML program code on your web page. If you are using MS Front Page, select the HTML tab at the bottom of the screen.

All JAVA class files and the animation applet will remain on the Las Palmas host server. This banner has been designed to load quickly, but, as with all web animation, it requires more download time than our more simple GIF banners. If download time is a critical concern, you may wish to try both types of banners. However, please remember that if you have provided Las Palmas with an animated banner to display on our Banner Exchange pages, you must use our JAVA banner on your web site.

If you use our JAVA banner, there is no need to set up hyperlink "hotspots" to the Las Palmas web site. Hyperlinks to Las Palmas have already been programmed into the animation.

Las Palmas GIF Banner 1

Version 1 of our GIF banner has a shaded border that requires a white background. As we have done below, you might choose to place this banner in a table cell that has a white background, or, if your web page has a different color background, simply choose version 2 of our GIF banner below.

To add our GIF banner to your web page, right-click on the banner and select "Save Image As..." (Netscape Navigator) or select "Save Picture As..." (MS Internet Explorer) and then save the banner to your hard drive. Next, add this GIF image to your web page as you would any other graphic or photo image.

Next create a hyperlink "hotspot" using the entire banner image. Set the hyperlink to the URL of the Las Palmas index page. To set the hyperlink, please copy and paste the URL address below:

Version 2 of our GIF banner has NO shaded border. You can place this banner on a web page with any color of background you choose.
